How to Use Custom Paints on Trading Paints

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Go to My Paints

First, navigate to the Trading Paints website and log in to your account. Once logged in, go to the My Paints section. Here, you can manage and upload your custom paint schemes.

Step 2: Upload a Paint

Click on the Upload a Paint button. This will open a file dialog where you can select the custom paint file from your computer.

Step 3: Select "Just Me" for Visibility

In the upload options, select Just Me under the Who will race with this paint? section. This ensures that only you can use this paint in races, while other players can see it but cannot download it.

Step 4: Choose the Correct Item

From the dropdown menu, select the car, helmet, or suit that the paint is for. Make sure to choose the correct item to ensure your paint is applied correctly in the game.

Step 5: Select Sim-Stamped Numbers

Finally, check the box for Sim-stamped numbers. This allows your paint to include the official IRacing number plate. After that, click on Upload to My Paints to finish the process.
